Privacy Policy

Last updated 7 September 2026

Mopoga is a place to open a game and play it. That is a low bar for personal data, and we have tried to keep it low. This page sets out exactly what is collected while you use the site, why, who else can see it and how to make us stop. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

  • No account neededPlaying a game on Mopoga does not require you to register, hand over an email address or enter a payment method.
  • Your saves stay with youGame progress is written to your own browser storage on your own device, not to an account on our servers.
  • What we do collectStandard server log data, cookie and analytics data, and anything you choose to send us by email, phone or a form.
  • We do not sell your dataWe do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense used by California law.
  • You can ask us anythingWrite to info.imopoga@gmail.com and a person will answer. Requests to see or delete your data are handled the same way.

Who We Are

Mopoga is a free browser games website published at imopoga.com and operated from 248 W 35th St, New York, NY 10001, United States. In this policy, "Mopoga", "we", "us" and "our" refer to that operation. "You" means anyone who visits the site or contacts us.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use Mopoga, why we collect it, who else can see it and what you can do about it. It also covers the controller repair counter we run at 248 W 35th St FL1, since that service takes customer details in person.

If anything here is unclear, ask us. The contact details are at the bottom of this page and support is staffed every day.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

You can browse and play on Mopoga without telling us anything about yourself. We only receive personal details when you choose to send them, which usually means one of the following.

  • Emailing us, which gives us your email address and whatever you write in the message, including any screenshots or recordings you attach.
  • Calling our support line, which gives us your phone number and the content of the call.
  • Messaging us on a social platform, where the platform decides what profile information we can see.
  • Leaving a comment or submitting a game for the library, if that feature is available on the page you are using.
  • Bringing a controller to the repair counter, which is covered separately below.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, our servers keep a log of requests. A log entry can include your IP address, the page you asked for, the page you came from, your browser and operating system version, your approximate region derived from the IP address, and the date and time. This data is used to keep the site running, investigate faults and detect abuse such as scraping or attempted intrusion.

Information from the repair counter

If you bring a controller to 248 W 35th St FL1 for repair, we record your name, a contact number or email, the device being repaired and the fault reported. We need this to return the correct hardware to the correct person and to honour the 60 day warranty. We do not open, copy or retain any data stored on hardware left with us.

Cookies And Browser Storage

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Browser storage, sometimes called local storage, works in a similar way but is not sent back to the server with every request. Mopoga uses both.

  • Strictly necessary. Set by our website software to keep the site working, remember that you have dismissed a notice, and protect forms against abuse. The site cannot function properly without these.
  • Preference. Remember choices you have made, such as a category filter or a display setting, so the page looks the same the next time you open it.
  • Game progress. Written to your browser by the game you are playing. This is what lets you close a tab and pick up where you left off. It lives on your device and is cleared when you clear your browser data.
  • Analytics. Help us understand which games and pages are used, how people arrive and where the site is slow.
  • Advertising. Set by advertising partners to limit how often you see the same advert and to measure whether an advert worked.

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and clear site storage, usually under privacy or site settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site, and clearing storage will erase saved game progress, since that progress exists only on your device.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes and no others.

  • Delivering the site and the games, and keeping both available and reasonably fast.
  • Answering the questions, bug reports, submissions and legal notices you send us.
  • Understanding which parts of the library people use, so we know what to add next.
  • Detecting, investigating and preventing fraud, abuse, scraping and security incidents.
  • Running the repair service, including contacting you about your device and administering the warranty.
  • Meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations that apply to us.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, our legal bases are as follows. We rely on legitimate interests to run and secure the site and to answer correspondence. We rely on consent for analytics and advertising cookies, which you can withdraw at any time through your browser or any consent control shown on the site. We rely on contract to carry out a repair you have asked for, and on legal obligation where a law requires us to keep records.

Games And Third Party Content

Some games in the library are made available through third party providers and load inside a frame on our page. While you are playing one of those games, the provider can receive technical information such as your IP address and device details, and can set its own cookies or storage on your device.

We do not control what those providers collect. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. The same applies to any social platform, video player or map embedded on our pages.

Advertising And Analytics

We use analytics software to count visits and understand how the site is used. Analytics providers set cookies and receive a record of the pages you view.

The site may also display advertising served by third party networks. Those networks may use cookies and similar technologies to select adverts, cap how often you see them and measure results. We do not give advertising partners your name, email address or phone number.

You can reduce or switch off this activity in several places:

Some browsers send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Where a recognised opt out signal reaches us, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information.

When We Share Information

We do not sell personal information and we do not rent mailing lists. Information is shared only in these situations.

  • Service providers. Companies that host the site, deliver email, provide analytics or process payments for repairs. They act on our instructions and may use the data only to provide their service.
  • Game and content providers. As described in the section on third party content.
  • Legal reasons. Where we are required to respond to a lawful request, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, our users or the public.
  • Business transfer. If Mopoga is ever sold or merged, information may pass to the new owner, who would remain bound by this policy until it is replaced with notice to you.

Children's Privacy

Mopoga is a general audience website. Parts of the library are family friendly and suitable for younger players, but the site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We do not ask any visitor for a name, an email address or an account in order to play. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, write to info.imopoga@gmail.com with enough detail to identify the message and we will delete it promptly.

Parents and guardians who want tighter control can use the parental controls built into their browser, operating system or home network to limit what a child can reach.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep information only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.

  • Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then deleted or aggregated.
  • Support correspondence is kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you write again about the same issue.
  • Repair records are kept for at least the length of the 60 day warranty and for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • Game progress is not kept by us at all. It sits in your browser until you clear it.

How We Protect Information

The site is served over an encrypted connection, access to our systems is limited to people who need it, and we apply software updates to the platform we run on. Paper records at the repair counter are kept out of public view.

No website or business can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information and the law requires us to tell you, we will do so without unnecessary delay.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over the personal information we hold about you.

  • Ask what we hold and receive a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need.
  • Object to or restrict certain uses, including analytics and advertising.
  • Ask us to move your information to another provider where that is technically possible.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it.
  • Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, and not be treated worse for doing so.

To use any of these rights, email info.imopoga@gmail.com. We will reply within the period the applicable law allows, and we may need to ask a question or two to be sure the request is genuinely yours. You will not be charged for a reasonable request.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area and you are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

International Visitors

Mopoga is operated from the United States, and the servers and service providers we use are located there or in other countries. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in a country whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where a transfer of personal information out of the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area requires a safeguard, we rely on the standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose.

Changes To This Policy

We update this policy when what we do changes, or when the law changes. The date at the top of the page always shows when it was last revised. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will make that clear on the site rather than quietly editing the text.

Continuing to use Mopoga after a revised policy is published means you accept the revised version.

How To Contact Us

Questions, complaints and requests about this policy all go to the same place, and a person will answer.
