What is Mopoga?

Play free Mopoga browser games on a desktop with a keyboard attached

Mopoga is a free mobile games platform that runs entirely inside your web browser. Instead of sending you to an app store, making you wait through a download and asking for permissions before you have seen a single frame, it opens the game in the page you are already on. You tap a title, it starts, and when you close the tab nothing is left behind on your device.

The library is split into twenty four categories covering action, puzzle, racing, strategy, sports, card, kids and more. It behaves the same way on an iPhone, an Android handset and a desktop, and progress is saved in your own browser rather than in an account, because there is no account to make.

Play Online Games Anywhere, Anytime

Open Mopoga in any browser on a phone, a tablet or a desktop and the whole library is there. Nothing installs, so a game is never more than a tap away, on the sofa or waiting for a bus.

Play Games At Your Fingertips

Touch controls come first here. Games earn a place because they work with a thumb on a phone screen, not because they were squeezed down from a desktop version afterwards.

Multiplayer Adventures Await

The Multiplayer category collects the titles built for more than one player. Send a friend the link and they are in, with no account to create and nothing for either of you to download.

Fun For All Ages

Twenty four categories, from Action and Racing through to Kids, Board and Trivia. Something for a five minute break and something for a long evening, whoever is holding the phone.

How to Play Android and iOS Games for Free on Mopoga

Play hot Mopoga games free in your browser

Playing free games on Mopoga takes seconds and asks nothing of your phone. Open the browser you already use on your Android or iOS device, go to Mopoga, and a full library of action, puzzle, strategy, racing and card games is waiting. There is no app store to visit, nothing to install and no storage to give up.

Pick a title, read what it is about, then press Play Now and it loads straight into the tab. Gameplay runs without interruption, fresh games arrive regularly, and passing a favourite along to a friend is as easy as sending the link.

Start playing free No download · No sign-up
  1. Visit Mopoga

Open Chrome, Safari or whichever browser you already use on your Android or iOS device and go to the Mopoga homepage. The layout is built for small screens, so everything stays within reach of one thumb.

  2. Browse Games

Work through the library by genre. Action, puzzle, strategy, racing, sports, card, kids and more each have their own page, so you can narrow things down fast instead of scrolling past titles you were never going to play.

  3. Select a Game

Tap any title to open its page. You get a short description, screenshots and the basics of how it plays, which is usually enough to tell within a few seconds whether it is worth your time.

  4. Start Playing

Press Play Now and the game loads inside the browser. Nothing downloads, nothing installs and no storage is used, so you are already playing while an app store would still be showing a progress bar.

  5. Enjoy and Explore

Play as long as you like, then move on to the next one. New games are added regularly, so the front page is worth another look even if you worked through your favourites last week.

  6. Share Your Experience

Send a link to a friend when you find something good, and leave feedback on the games you play. Those notes shape what gets added next and help other players find the titles worth opening.

Why choose Mopoga for free mobile games?

Why choose Mopoga for free mobile games

Mopoga is a free games library that runs inside the browser you already have open. No app store, no install, no account and nothing left behind on your phone once you close the tab. Everything below follows from that one decision.

Six reasons players stay, in the order they usually notice them.

01 Nothing to install, ever Games stream frame by frame, so the only thing on your phone afterwards is the tab you closed.
02 Two seconds to playing Median time to first playable frame is 2.1s on 4G, faster than reading a store listing.
03 Every title hand-tested Thirty minutes minimum per game on real hardware. Stutters, paywalls and nag screens get rejected.
04 One save, three devices Start on the bus, finish on a laptop. The same run follows you without a re-download.
05 Light on data and battery A ten-minute session averages 18 MB, roughly a third of a short video at the same length.
06 Multiplayer by link Forty-one titles run browser-to-browser. Share a URL and your friends are in the match.

Play free iOS games on Mopoga in a Safari browser tab with no download or install

iOS: open Safari, tap a game, start playing

Nothing to fetch from the App Store and nothing to approve before you begin. Games open inside the tab you already have and take no storage from your iPhone or iPad, so you can try one on a break and close it without leaving a trace.

How it works

How to play free games on Mopoga without installing anything

Six taps, start to finish. No account is required until you want saves to follow you across devices.

Open Mopoga
Any browser, any device. There is nothing to set up and no version to keep current.
Browse or filter
Sort by genre, session length or what is busiest right now. Every card shows real player counts.
Tap a game
The title loads in place. First playable frame lands in about two seconds on 4G.
Play immediately
Full controls, full levels, no trial gate. Touch, tilt or keyboard depending on the device.
Pick up later
Progress saves to your browser automatically, or to an account if you want it on two devices.
Tell us what worked
One line of feedback per game. It decides what we add and what we quietly remove.

The download is the worst part of mobile gaming, so Mopoga removed it

Visit the site, choose a game, start playing. That is the whole flow. Everything an app store puts between those three steps, the download bar, the install, the permission prompts and the storage warning, is simply not here.

0 MB
Nothing lands on your phone
No installation and no storage space required. A game runs inside the tab and leaves nothing behind once you close it.
0 WAIT
Playing, not waiting
Pick a title and it starts right away. You find out whether you like a game while you are playing it, not after a progress bar has finished.
0 PROMPTS
No permissions to hand over
A browser tab does not ask for your contacts, your location or your notifications. A puzzle game never needed any of them.
0 UPDATES
Always the current build
Nothing to patch and no version to keep current. Whatever you open is already the newest build of that game.

Mopoga advantages and other platforms' disadvantages

Same six measures, read twice. On the left is how instant play behaves; on the right is what an install-first store or an ad-heavy portal does with the same minute of your time.

✓

Mopoga advantages

+ Zero storage — nothing ever installs on your device
+ About two seconds from tap to first playable frame
+ Optional account, only if you want cross-device saves
+ Every game played and approved by an editor first
+ Identical build on iOS, Android and desktop
+ Ads live outside the game frame, never inside a run
✕

Other platforms' disadvantages

− 80–400 MB downloaded before you know if it is fun
− Two to six minutes of waiting, plus mandatory updates
− Account and permissions demanded before the first level
− Catalogues padded with reskins nobody has checked
− Separate builds, separate progress, per platform
− Interstitials cutting into the middle of your session

Guides

Guides For Gamers On Mopoga

Everything here runs inside your browser, which quietly changes a few of the habits carried over from app store gaming. These seven short guides cover how to start, how to get the best frame rate out of the device you already own, where your progress actually lives, how to stay safe when nothing is installed, and what to do on the rare occasion a game will not load.

01

How To Start Playing In Three Taps

There is no setup step on Mopoga. You do not make an account, you do not pick a username and you do not confirm an email address before you are allowed to play. Open the site, choose something, press play.

  • Open a category. The library is split into twenty four categories, so the fastest route to a game you will actually like is to rule out the twenty three you will not.
  • Use the search bar if you already know the name. Part of a word is enough, and the results show which category each game sits in.
  • Press play. The game loads inside the page. Nothing downloads, nothing installs and no storage is taken from your device.

If you want to come back to a game later, bookmark its own page rather than the homepage. A bookmarked game page opens straight into that title.

02

Getting The Smoothest Frame Rate

Browser games run on the same hardware a native app would use, so anything that slows one down will slow the other down too. Four habits make more difference than everything else combined.

  • Close the other tabs. Every open tab holds memory. On a phone with a few years on it, closing five tabs is the single biggest improvement available to you.
  • Turn off battery saver while you play. Both Android and iOS throttle the processor in low power mode, which is exactly what a game needs most.
  • Keep your browser current. Graphics performance improves with almost every browser release. An update you have been postponing for months is costing you frames.
  • Use Wi-Fi for the first load. The opening moments pull the most data. After that most titles are light.

If a game still stutters, try a different one in the same category before assuming your device is the problem. Some titles are simply heavier than others.

03

Where Your Progress Is Saved

Progress on Mopoga is written to your own browser, on your own device. It is not held in an account on our servers, which is why you were never asked to make one. That has two consequences worth knowing before you sink an evening into a run.

  • Saves stay in the browser you played in. Start on your phone in Chrome and the run will not appear on your laptop, or in Safari on the same phone.
  • Clearing browsing data erases them. Clearing site data, running a cleaner app, or playing in private or incognito mode all remove the save with everything else.

Neither is a limitation we chose lightly. It is the trade for never asking you to register. If a game matters to you, finish it in the browser you began it in.

04

Choosing A Game Worth Your Time

The real advantage of instant play is that a bad choice costs you nothing. There is no download to regret and no uninstall to perform, which should change how you browse.

  • Give a game five minutes, not fifty. If it has not shown you something interesting in five minutes, close the tab and open something else. It cost you nothing.
  • Trust the category, not the thumbnail. Categories here are meant to be accurate. A racing game filed under puzzle is a mistake, and we would rather you told us about it.
  • Read the short description first. It usually explains how a game controls, and that is what decides whether it suits the way you are sitting right now.
  • Work sideways. When you find something good, open its category page. The nearest neighbours are usually the next thing worth playing.

05

Playing Safely With Nothing Installed

The safest thing about browser games is structural rather than promised. Because nothing installs, there is no application file that can land on your phone in the first place. A browser tab runs inside a sandbox, walled off from your files, your photos and your other apps, and it stops existing when you close it.

  • No install means no APK or IPA on your device. The most common route for mobile malware is a file sideloaded from outside an official store. Instant play removes that route completely.
  • No account means no password to lose. We never ask you to register, so there is no credential of yours sitting on our side for anyone to steal.
  • No permission prompts. Games here do not ask for your contacts, your location, your camera or your microphone. If a page ever does, close it.
  • Keep the browser updated. Browser updates are security updates. This is the one piece of housekeeping that genuinely protects you.

What we will never ask you to do. Mopoga will never ask you to download a file in order to play, install a browser extension, enter card details to unlock a free game, or pass on a code you received by text or email. If a page claims to be us and asks for any of those things, it is not us. Close it and tell us at info.imopoga@gmail.com.

Adverts appear on some pages and are supplied by third party networks rather than written by us. If one leads to a download prompt or a fake system warning, do not accept it, and send us the page it appeared on. We would much rather hear about it than not.

06

Guides For Parents And Younger Players

Mopoga is a general audience site with a good amount of family friendly material in it. The Kids, Puzzle, Board and Trivia categories are the usual starting points for a younger player.

  • No account is ever created. A child playing here enters no name, no email address and no birthday, because the site never asks for any of them.
  • Nothing installs. There is no route by which a game on this site can place an app on a shared family device.
  • Use the controls you already have. Screen time limits and content filters built into iOS, Android and your home router apply to Mopoga exactly as they do anywhere else.
  • Tell us if something is misfiled. If a game in a family category does not belong there, that is a mistake on our side and we will fix it.

07

If A Game Will Not Load

Almost every loading problem comes down to four things, and they are quick to rule out in this order.

  • Refresh once, properly. A hard refresh clears a partial load. On a phone, closing the tab and reopening the game page does the same job.
  • Check an ad blocker or privacy extension. Aggressive blockers sometimes stop the game files themselves, not only the adverts. Pausing one for the page is the quickest test there is.
  • Try a second browser. If the same game runs elsewhere on the same device, the fault is a setting rather than the game.
  • Try a second game. If everything else loads, the fault is with that one title, and we want to know about it.

If it still will not run, write to us with the game name, the link to its page, your device and browser, and what you saw on screen. Support is staffed 24 hours a day, and a message carrying those four details is usually solved on the first reply.

What people ask before their first game on Mopoga

What exactly is Mopoga?
A free games library that runs inside your web browser. You open a page, choose a title and play it right there. Nothing installs, no account is created and nothing is left on your device once you close the tab. The library is split into twenty four categories covering action, puzzle, racing, strategy, card, kids and more.
Why do I not need to download anything?
The game runs in the browser you already have open, so there is no app package to fetch from a store and nothing to install. That is also why no storage space is taken from your phone, and why you can be playing seconds after choosing a game instead of watching a progress bar.
Is Mopoga genuinely free to play?
Yes. There is no paywall, no trial window and no card details are ever requested. If a page claiming to be Mopoga asks you to pay in order to unlock a free game, it is not us. Close it and report it to info.imopoga@gmail.com.
Do I have to create an account?
No. Mopoga has no sign up at all. You never enter a name, an email address or a password in order to play, which also means there is no account of yours anywhere for someone to compromise.
Where is my game progress saved?
In your own browser, on your own device, rather than in an account on our servers. A run started on your phone will not appear on your laptop, and clearing your browsing data or playing in private mode will erase it. That is the trade for never being asked to register.
Which phones and browsers are supported?
Any device with a reasonably current browser. iPhone and iPad on Safari, Android on Chrome or Firefox, and Windows, macOS, Linux or ChromeOS on desktop. Keeping the browser updated makes the single biggest difference to how smoothly games run.
Does playing use a lot of mobile data?
The heaviest moment is the first load, when the game itself arrives. After that most titles are light. Puzzle, board and card games use the least, while open world and racing titles use the most. Opening a game on Wi-Fi the first time is the simplest way to keep mobile data down.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. The Multiplayer category collects the titles built for more than one player. Because everything runs in a browser, you can usually just send a friend a link rather than asking them to install something first.
What kinds of games are in the library?
Twenty four categories: action, adventure, arcade, casual, car, fighting, horror, mobile games, puzzle, racing, RPG, simulation, sports, strategy, sandbox, multiplayer, shooting, board, card, kids, girls, trivia, casino and stickman. Each category page lists what is currently available in it.
Is it safe to play games on Mopoga?
Nothing installs, so there is no application file that can reach your phone, and a browser tab is sandboxed away from your files and your other apps. Games here never ask for your contacts, location, camera or microphone. Mopoga will also never ask you to download a file, add a browser extension or enter card details in order to play. If a page does any of that, close it and tell us.
Are the games suitable for children?
Mopoga is a general audience site and is not directed at children under 13, but there is a good amount of family friendly material in it. The Kids, Puzzle, Board and Trivia categories are the usual starting points. No account is ever created, so a child playing here enters no personal details at all. If a game is filed in a family category and should not be, tell us and we will move it.
Why will a game not load for me?
Four things account for almost every case. Refresh the page properly, pause an ad blocker or privacy extension for that page, try a second browser on the same device, then try a second game. If everything else loads and only one title fails, the fault is with that title and we want to hear about it.
Can I suggest a game or report a problem?
Yes, and both go to the same place. Email info.imopoga@gmail.com or call +1 212-920-6533. Support is staffed 24 hours a day, every day. For a broken game, include the game name, the link to its page, your device and browser, and what you saw on screen. That usually gets it solved on the first reply.
Do you really repair controllers as well?
We do. Our service counter at 248 W 35th St FL1 repairs controllers for all the major consoles, Xbox included, and every repair carries a 60 day warranty on the work we did. Walk in Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, or Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Calling ahead lets us check parts before you make the trip.
Who runs Mopoga?
A small team. Brew founded the site after nine years in mobile gaming. Justin Scott works through the game development problems and publishes the fixes. Elle and Em run the video, social and blog side. There is more on the About page, along with a real street address and phone number on the Contact page.
